What is the Higher Education Child Care Project (HECCP)?
The Higher Education Child Care Project (HECCP) provides reimbursement of child care costs to eligible student-parents. This funding has been made available through the Department of Economic Security (DES).
The purpose of the Higher Education Child Care Project is to provide qualified child care assistance to income eligible, undergraduate students taking 6 or more credits who are parents of a child or children (12 years of age and under).
Eligible Students:
► Any student-parent taking 6 or more credits in a CAC degree pathway, approved by DES, may be eligible to apply for reimbursement of qualifying child care expenses.

Funding provided by the Department of Economic Security Child Care Administration. Under Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI and VII) and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, Central Arizona College prohibits discrimination in admissions, programs, services, activities or employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, and disability The Central Arizona College must make a reasonable accommodation to allow a person with a disability to take part in a program, service, or activity.
