Visual and Performing Arts Division

The Visual and Performing Arts division includes a variety of certificate and degree options in Entertainment Industry and Technology, Fine Arts, Digital Media and Design, as well as learning options in dance, instrumental music, choral music and theater.

With over a 40 year history of innovations in nutrition, dietetics and wellness education, we are proud to offer our degree and certificate programs 100% online that can enhance job skills and increase employment possibilities.

Education Division

Central Arizona’s Education Division offers many opportunities for study, including coursework in Elementary Education, Special Education, Secondary Education and Early Childhood Education that can lead to both certificates and degrees.

Fire Science Division

This department offers courses in Fire Science and Hazardous Materials. An Associate of Applied Science Degree is available in Fire Science Technology. Certificates of Completion are available in Firefighter Operations, Driver Operator, and Fire Officer.

Health Careers Division

Healthcare is one of the fastest growing professions in America today. CAC offers different Health Career majors including; Community Public Health, Clinical Laboratory Assistant, Health Information Management, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Radiology.


Literary Arts and Languages Division

Central Arizona College’s Literary Arts and Languages Division, the largest division in the college, houses courses in reading, languages, humanities, writing, and literature.

Mathematics Division

Math courses of all levels, from developmental through advanced calculus, are offered to satisfy the requirements of all associate degrees and certificates. In addition, courses from MAT141-College Mathematics and above transfer to the state universities, as well as many universities outside of Arizona.

We also offer specialized programs in Justice Studies, Social Work and Women and Gender Studies.
