Food Pantry

COMING TO A CAC LIBRARY SOON!

CAC Food Pantry locations are still in development and we hope to have them open in May 2019. Donations are now being accepted.

CAC Food Pantry ImageCentral Arizona College recognizes the reality of food insecurity among our student population and the extent to which hunger effects our communities.

In the United States, an estimated 40 million people, including 12 million children struggle with hunger.  In Pinal county alone, nearly 60,000 people struggle with food insecurity on a regular basis.

The CAC Food Pantry is part of a larger initiative intended to improve student success and increase upward mobility by combating the negative effects of hunger within our community.  Part of this initiative will be hosting a Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week across all campuses in November 2019.  More information on this event to come!

CAC Food Pantry locations are currently being stocked and we hope to begin serving our community starting in May of 2019.
