Academic Program Review
Central Arizona College’s academic program review process evaluates each certificate and degree program once every five years. The reviews assess the programs’ effectiveness, viability, strengths and weaknesses, and alignment with both community needs and the college’s mission and vision. The reviews also identify whether the programs require additional resources like instructors, technology, facilities space, and funding. Assessment of student mastery of the programs’ Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) is embedded in the academic program reviews.
