Introduction to Phi Theta Kappa

For students who qualify scholastically, enjoy good fellowship, appreciate the value of leadership and are committed to service, Phi Theta Kappa is a treasured ticket to success.

Eligibility

To be eligible for membership:
•You must be enrolled in an accredited institution offering an associate degree program.
•You must have completed at least 12 hours of coursework that may be applied to an associate degree (part-time students may be eligible).*
•You must have a grade point average of 3.5.
•You must receive an invitation to membership from the chapter at the college where presently enrolled.
•You must adhere to the moral standards of the society.

Dues

There is a one-time membership fee. For CAC students, the total is $70, which includes regional and national dues.

Provisional Membership- Students can become provisional members if they have not met the requirements for official membership. You just cannot hold an officer position or attend the national convention.
