If you are new to Central Arizona College or returning to school after being away for a time, attending a New Student Orientation (NSO) program is critical to your success!
Orientations are an opportunity to connect with other students, faculty, and staff. You will also be able to tour campus and ask any questions you may have. Topics covered include working with Advising, utilizing Financial Aid, and using technology such as Blackboard and email.
We offer two ways to attend a New Student Orientation:
- On-campus New Student Orientations: These are in-person, 2-hour sessions held at each campus which allow for campus tours. Students may attend orientation at any campus location, but some information will be tailored to the campus on which the orientation takes place.
- LIVE! Online New Student Orientation: At these sessions, our orientation team will be available to answer student questions LIVE from multiple campus locations via our Blackboard Collaborate online software. Students can access these sessions from any computer or mobile device.
New Student Orientation is mandatory for all first-time degree-seeking students, but recommended for any new student to Central Arizona College.
