Welcome to the lab kit inventory and safety database for Central Arizona College! Please locate your lab kit by selecting the tab for your course. For each course, you will find an inventory document as well as a safety data sheet (SDS) for items included within your kit.

Inventory Check
Once you receive your BIO100 Kit, look over the BIO 100 Materials List to ensure you have everything you need for your labs.
After comparing the items in your kit to the inventory document below, if you find anything to be missing please reach out to lab coordinator Edith Robinson at edith.robinson@centralaz.edu to arrange a replacement.
Lab kits contain most of the items needed to complete laboratory activities at home. However, some items will be supplied by the student. For a list of items that you need to supply, please see your course syllabus or contact your instructor.
Safety Data Sheets
A Safety Data Sheet (SDS), formerly known as a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), is a mandatory document provided by manufacturers that outlines potential chemical hazards, handling instructions, and emergency procedures. SDSs include 16 standardized sections covering identification, hazards, composition, first-aid, firefighting, and safe handling procedures.
You may also contact your instructor if you have any questions about the information contained in the safety data sheets pertaining to proper handling and storage of kit materials.
