Third Annual Welding Demo and Outreach Day to be Held at CAC Signal Peak Campus

Central Arizona College and Vern Lewis Welding Supply invite community members to attend the third annual Welding Demo and Outreach Day on Thurs., October 26, 2023, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. The event will be held at the Signal Peak Campus (8470 N Overfield Rd, Coolidge, AZ 85128.)

“We are excited and thrilled to be able to continue this tradition and have many more industries beyond welding attending this year to promote the demand for skilled trades careers needing filled across the nation,” stated Lexi Porterfield, CAC Skilled Trades Coordinator and Recruiter. She added, “If you are interested in experiencing and learning what skilled trades have to offer, then this event is for you!”

The free event will feature demonstrations for various skills trades industries, food trucks and networking opportunities for students and individuals who may be looking for jobs while in school or interested in going straight into the workforce.
