Central Arizona College (CAC) recently received full approval from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), its regional accreditor, to offer a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSEE) degree. This 120-credit hour degree is slated to begin in Fall 2026.
Patrick Moyer, Academic Dean, Arts and Sciences stated, “The BSEE is the first bachelor’s degree to be offered by Central Arizona College. At CAC, our commitment to Pinal County drives everything we do. We’re excited to expand our offerings with four-year and post-baccalaureate degrees designed to strengthen our local workforce and boost economic growth.”
Cara Steiner, Lead Faculty for Elementary Education added, “Our new programs in Elementary Education address a critical need for dedicated, highly qualified teachers— in Pinal County and across Arizona. Through powerful community partnerships, innovative academic programs, and some of the most affordable tuition rates in the state, CAC is shaping the future of education while creating opportunities that change lives.
