Central Arizona College Community Events Announces 2025-2026 Season
By Stacey Seaman, Pence Director
Central Arizona College (CAC) Community Events proudly announces its 2025-2026 season.
The 2025-26 Season will once again highlight smaller local events that will be distributed between four of CAC’s campuses: Signal Peak (SPC) in Coolidge, Maricopa (MAR), San Tan (STC) and Superstition Mountain (SMC) in Apache Junction. Additionally, some events will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande (FPC) and Santa Cruz Valley Union High School in Eloy, AZ.
The Premiere Events series will feature Garth Live! in an outdoor concert with local food trucks at Maricopa (MAR) in October. This will be followed by the Christmas Tenors at the First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande (FPC) in December. FPC will also host the James Fernando Jazz Trio and a Neil Diamond Tribute in February. In March, two nationally known artists: western artist Dave Stamey will perform at the Superstition Mountain Campus, and the family-friendly comedy musicians Piano Heist at SPC. Bring a friend to enjoy these fun evenings of entertainment.
The Great AZ Puppet Theater will bring “My Pet Dinosaur” to SMC and STC in September, and “Jack Rabbit and the Desert Tortoise” to SPC and MAR in February. Spoken word artist Chibbi will perform at SPC and STC in October, and country artist Kristen Merlin will round out the series with a pair of concerts at STC and SPC in April.
CAC Community Events is always proud to promote local artists. Maricopa based comedy producer Tony Vicich is back this season with two stellar standup shows: Eric O’Shea at SMC in October, and the best of Arizona local comedians at MAR in January. The Tucson Latin Jazz Nonet will bring Afro-Cuban jazz to MAR in November. New to the roster will be Casa Grande based jazz trio The Jays, who will perform at FPC in January and Florence based singer/guitarist Carla Foss will perform a Valentine’s concert in February at SMC and a dinner-show at SPC.
The popular Speaker’s Series returns with presenting speaker Win Holden: 100 Years of Arizona Highways at SMC in November and SPC in January. The series will wind up with entrepreneur Lisa Rehurek: Be Your Own Boss at STC in April.
With the help of community partners, the CAC music and EIT departments will perform their fall and spring concerts in the community. EIT students will perform their midterm and final concerts at SPC. The CAC Community Band and Orchestra will perform their fall and spring concerts at Santa Cruz Valley Union High School in Eloy in November and April. The CAC Handbell Choir and Choir will perform their winter and spring concerts at The First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande in December and May.
