CAC Recognizes Students and Business Partners during Annual Agriculture and Advanced Technology Division Breakfast

The Central Arizona College Agriculture and Advanced Technology Division recognized students and business partners for their outstanding achievements at the annual advisory board breakfast held on April 19.
Individuals and businesses recognized include:
Yasmine Quiroz – Outstanding Student Agriculture Program
Ryan Grove – Outstanding Student Heavy Equipment Operators Program
Mark Baars – Outstanding Student Diesel Program
Geoffrey Hansen – Outstanding Student Advanced Manufacturing Program
Odin Bartlett – Outstanding Student Welding Program
Kaylee Billingsley – Outstanding Student Equine Management Program
Shea Nieto – Outstanding Contribution to the Agriculture Program
Darry Welker, Sundt Construction – Outstanding Contribution to the Heavy Equipment Operators Program
Ken Franklin – Outstanding Contribution to the Diesel Program
Paul Fielding, Frito Lay – Outstanding Contribution to the Advanced Manufacturing Program
Cyber Weld – Outstanding Contribution to the Welding Program
CAC students, Jazmine Buie (Agriculture), Mark Baars (Diesel), Geoffrey Hansen (Advanced Manufacturing), and Joshua Jones, Jr. (Welding) discussed their college and program experiences with attendees.
Hansen commented, “CAC offers a broad spectrum of opportunities. Everything I do here applies to what I do on the job.”
Jones added, “It is important to get the most out of what the program offers. CAC is preparing me for my future.”
Following the panel discussion, advisory committee members attended program specific meetings.
