CAC CARES and is Still Here for You
By Angela Askey, Executive Director Public Relations and Marketing
For the continued safety of our students, faculty, staff and community members during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Central Arizona College campuses will remain closed until we can safely open to the public. CAC does continue to offer full services for advising, financial aid, registration and student engagement in a virtual or online format. Information about student resources, COVID-19 campus updates and more is available at www.centralaz.edu/caccares.
Registration is currently taking place for classes that begin on January 18. To maintain safety practices, all courses will begin online with a majority of the courses being conducted in a virtual/online format for the full semester. The class schedule (https://centralaz.edu/academics/class-schedule/) represents the delivery method for courses. Students who have courses with a face to face component will receive guidance from the course instructor as to when the actual in person instruction will begin. If the current health situation allows, it is possible that CAC may begin offering face to face courses the last eight (8) weeks of the semester.
Residence halls will reopen to athletes on January 4 and students with face-to-face course components on January 13. Food service will be available and provided only to the students residing in the residence halls.
CAC’s Campus Police and Facilities teams continue to ensure campuses remain a safe and healthy learning environment.
