International Students / F-1 Visa

International Admissions must be completed at least 6 weeks prior to expected starting semester.
International students seeking admissions based on an F-1 student visa status must provide the following documentation:
•Complete: International Student Questionnaire
•Complete: English proficiency exam is required if coming from a non-English speaking country. English proficiency test results expire after two years from test date. The list below is subject to change without notice.
- Duolingo: Minimum score of 90.
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Minimum overall band score 5.5 or better with a minimum individual score of 5.0 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
- TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Minimum band score of 61.
- Official transcripts indicating completion of College Reading AND English Composition 100, OR English Composition 101 (or their equivalents) at a regionally accredited institution and earning a grade of C or better.
- ACT Reading and Writing with a minimum score of 19
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing with a minimum score of 510
•Submit: All final transcripts/grades from any high school(s) and college(s) attended.
•Submit: Letter from a bank or other financial institution verifying funds for financial support.
•Document Translation into English: Contact on of the following agencies for foreign credential evaluation services:
- Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) www.ece.org
- International Educational Research Foundation (IERF) www.ierf.org
- World Education Services (WES) www.wes.org
•All Above Documents Should be Submitted To Central Arizona College at international.admissions@centralaz.edu

*Central Arizona College has no provision for scholarships for international students; therefore, students must be prepared to meet the necessary financial obligations for the entire time they will be in the United States. It is estimated that each student will need at least $18,000 per academic year in order to meet all expenses, exclusive of travel.
