Vaquero Pete Reservations and Schedule
Welcome to the official booking page for the CAC Vaquero.
Students, staff, and faculty districtwide participated in a voting process to choose the look of the Vaquero from his hat to his chaps. The new Vaquero made his debut during the 2018-2019 academic year.
Below you will see a calendar of current bookings as well as blackout dates.

*All requests must be made with a minimum of two weeks’ notice preceding the event. Please refer to the calendar below before making a request.
Mascot Care Guidelines
To ensure the safety, comfort, and proper handling of the mascot suit, please follow the guidelines below:
- Pick-Up Time
- The mascot suit may be picked up the day before or the day of your scheduled event.
- Drop-Off Time
- Please return the mascot suit the day of the event or the following day, depending on your event schedule and prior arrangements.
- Breaks & Rest Area
- Provide access to an air-conditioned space where the mascot can change and take breaks.
- The mascot must receive 10-minute breaks every 30 minutes of wear time.
- Hydration
- Supply a minimum of four bottles of water for the mascot performer to stay hydrated throughout the event.
