Central Arizona College is committed to supporting Early Childhood Initiatives through a variety of programs and resources designed to empower students, educators, and childcare professionals. We offer comprehensive degree and certificate programs that prepare students for careers in early childhood education, along with specialized training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

The Professional Career Pathway Project (PCPP) is a college scholarship opportunity for students currently working in the field of early childhood education.

The Arizona Early Childhood Educator Apprenticeship Pathway is a 2-year program designed to provide job seekers and early learning professionals with a blend of college coursework, mentorship and on the job experience.

Events and resources for high school education professionals including a Career & Technical Education Speaker Series. Participants gain valuable knowledge about the skills, certifications, and opportunities available in the field.

Arizona Early Childhood Professional Development Advisory Committee works to advocate for early childhood education and develop solutions to increase access to quality education in Arizona.

The Early Childhood Workforce Forum is an opportunity for state agencies to share department updates and information regarding Arizona’s early childhood workforce and professional development system.
