Applying to the Aesthetics Program

Students interested in beginning a career in skincare and beauty through Central Arizona College’s
Aesthetics Program can expect a structured admissions process that ensures readiness and commitment to the profession. Our program is aligned with the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board’s requirements and is designed to prepare students for licensure and success in the aesthetics industry.

What to Expect During the Application Process:

• Initial Interest:
  Once a student expresses interest in the Aesthetics Program, they will be contacted to begin the next steps.
• Required Meeting:
  All prospective students are required to schedule a meeting with the Aesthetics Program Director before acceptance. This ensures each applicant fully understands program expectations, required materials, timelines, and licensing requirements.
• Program Overview:
  During this meeting, students will receive:
  • A detailed overview of the program structure
  • Financial responsibilities (tuition, kit costs, textbook, uniforms, etc.)
  • Admissions checklist including drug screening, CPR certification, background check, and more
  • A review of attendance and academic standards required for program completion and state licensure
