The 2018 Alumni and Friends Celebration

Thank you to our Alumni and Friends

Thank you!

December 8, 2018 marked Central Arizona College’s first Alumni and Friends Celebration. The event, hosted by Central Arizona College, was a grand success thanks to our amazing friends and Alumni. We truly appreciate everyone who was in attendance Saturday night. We enjoyed seeing all of your familiar faces as you entered the room. Even more, we are grateful to have had the opportunity to reminisce on old times and become reacquainted with you all. Thank you for the friendship and support you all have continuously shown our college. We hope you all enjoyed the event as much as we did. Be sure to keep up to date with the CAC “Alumni Event” page to get the latest news on our next events.

          Mike Sauceda

                Speaker of the Night

Photo of Mike

Horizon Mike’s voice may be as familiar as his work on “Arizona Horizon.” In addition to his full-time duties as an Arizona Horizon producer, Mike was a well-known news anchor on KTAR radio and he still anchors for Skyview Satellite radio. Mike has been with “Arizona Horizon” since 1990. He arrived with many years of local radio experience. In many ways, Mike represents the best in the classic (and disappearing) style of traditional reporter. He likes nothing better than digging and digging at a complex issue, then crafting it into a segment the community can understand and learn from. Mike is an Arizona native.

Munsick Boys

Cowboy Christmas

Directly after the Dinner those who purchased the $40 dinner and event performance ticket where able to hear the sweet tunes of Western music, courtesy of the talented Munsick Boys. The Munsick Boys are a group of four men who have been creating the rhythmic sounds of country since the boys could fit their hands around a guitar neck. The group is well known for their Western American style, their harmonic blend of open sky folk, classical country and a pinch of edgy pop, a sound that gravitates to people of all ages. All proceeds raised from the Munsick Boys performance went to supporting Central Arizona Colleges award winning rodeo teams.
