Central Arizona College Support Staff Establish 500 for 500 Book Scholarship to Support Students

The Central Arizona College Foundation recently received a donation from Central Arizona College’s Support Staff Association to establish the 500 for 500 Book Scholarship.

CAC’s Support Staff are dedicated to ensuring students receive financial support for purchasing books needed for college courses. A $500 scholarship will be provided per semester each academic year, beginning in Fall 2026.

The 500 for 500 Book Scholarship is intended to assist students who may not qualify for the federal Pell Grant and have not received other book scholarships. Students must complete all required financial aid paperwork, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) along with the CAC Foundation scholarship application to be considered for this scholarship. CAC Support Staff will work with the college’s Financial Aid Department to select a recipient each semester.
