Central Arizona College Student, Mark Creech Selected ACTE Post-secondary Region 5 Business Student of Year
Central Arizona College business student, Mark Creech was recently selected ACTE Post-Secondary Region 5 Outstanding Business Education Student. Mark is a two-time winner of this award. This award recognizes students who are exceptional business students and have excellent leadership skills.
Creech is a member of the Central Arizona College chapter of Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL). Their mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
Creech is a three (3) term state officer and this year’s state president. During his two years as State Vice President of Programs and Chair of the Activities Committee, Mark led state officers in accomplishing many goals that have made Arizona PBL stronger and helped motivate members throughout the state. He planned and organized several successful statewide professional development and community service activities that benefited the March of Dimes and other non-profit organizations. He also established individual member and chapter recognition programs that helped multiple chapters grow and increased member participation in various programs.
This year, Creech is serving his second term as National Western Region Vice President and is working with the National Officer Team to develop and improve programs that will benefit PBL members across the country. As the Western Region Vice President, Mark is actively trying to recruit new PBL chapters in the region and increase PBL membership in each state.
Creech will receive the Business Student of the Year award during CareerTech Vision 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Awards ceremony will take place during the Business Education Division Opening Session on Thursday, Dec. 7
