Central Arizona College Hosts 14th Annual Pinal County Middle School Math Contest

Central Arizona College’s math department recently hosted the 2019 Middle School Math Contest at the San Tan Campus. More than 130 students from 13 schools throughout Pinal County participated.

Following are the top three placings for the team and individual competitions, as well as the top three school rankings.

Team Competition

1st Place: Adrian Edgar & Evelyn Spence (San Tan Heights K-8)

2nd Place: Nevaeh Lewis & Breanna Sanchez (San Tan Heights K-8)

3rd Place: Cameron Butler (JO Combs)

Individual Competition

Mathlete of the year: Logan Pflugfelder (JO Combs)

2nd place: Kenton Wilson (Desert Winds Middle School)

3rd Place: Brady McMullen (Maricopa Wells Middle School)

School Rankings:

1st Place: JO Combs

2nd Place: Circle Cross Ranch K-8

3rd Place: San Tan Heights K-8
