Submitted By Dr. Khalid Hawwary, Diagnostic Medical Sonography Director
Due to the exceptionally high demand for the 2027 cohort application cycle, the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program at Central Arizona College’s Superstition Mountain Campus has announced the addition of two virtual information sessions scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026. Session 1 will be held at 10 a.m. and Session 2 at 4:30 p.m.
Attendance at a program information session is a mandatory requirement for prospective students seeking application access to the 2027 cohort. These two virtual sessions represent the final opportunity to fulfill this requirement prior to the application deadline of Friday, June 26, 2026.
Prospective applicants who have not yet attended an information session are encouraged to register promptly, as session capacity may be limited. To reserve a spot, send an enrollment request to sonography.information@centralaz.edu. A calendar invite containing the virtual session link will be sent upon receipt of a request.
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Central Arizona College prepares students for careers as skilled sonographers across a range of clinical specialties. The program is committed to providing a rigorous, student-centered educational experience that equips graduates for professional credentialing and entry into the healthcare workforce.
