Central Arizona College Math Department Announces Middle School Math Contest Winners

After two years of conducting virtual contests, Central Arizona  College’s Math Department hosted the 17th Annual Pinal County Middle School Math Contest at the Signal Peak Campus. Eleven middle schools from across Pinal County, from Superior to Maricopa, brought students to compete in both Individual and Team competitions. In total, 110 students participated.

Congratulations is extended to the following winners:

Team Competition:

1^st place: Zane Noga & Jenesis Arias, Circle Cross

2^nd place: Emma Brighton & Victoria Peterson, JO Combs

3^rd place: Marc Duverson & Makai Mallory, Skyline Ranch

Individual Competition:

Mathlete of the year: Madison Faulkner, Circle Cross Ranch

2^nd place: Julian Soto, Skyline Ranch

3^rd place: Wyatt Schapp, JO Combs

Overall School awards:

1^st place: Circle Cross Ranch

2^nd place: JO Combs

3^rd place: Desert Winds
