Library Catalog
Find books, DVDs, government documents, and more from any of the 5 CAC Libraries and all of the Pinal County Public Libraries.
If the book you want is at a different campus or one of the public libraries, hit the request button and enter your login information. Your barcode is found on your ID (not your 880 number) and your password is the last 4 numbers of your phone number.
Your student or staff ID is your library card. Twenty items can be checked out at one time, books for 3 weeks and DVDs for 10 days.
Use the call number to find items on the shelf.

eBook Collection (EBSCO)
A growing collection of books covering a wide range of topics. Search by keyword(s), or find environmental science books under the category Science.
Gale eBooks
Complete, full-text eBooks covering most topics including subject-specific encyclopedias. Search by keyword(s), or select Environment under Browse Collections.
- Alternative Energy (2010) Explores the ongoing debate over alternative energy that gathered strength in the 20th century, showing how that debate mirrors larger attitudes toward energy and consumption.
- Encyclopedia of Environment and Society (2007) Provides information on issues, concepts, theories, examples, problems, and policies, with the goal of explicating an emerging way of thinking about people and nature. Written by experts from incredibly diverse fields.
- Environment: A Revolution in Attitudes (2008) Examines the steps that have been taken to protect Earth’s natural environment and the controversies that surround them.
- Gale Encyclopedia of Science (2008) Covers all major areas of science.
- McGraw-Hill Concise Encyclopedia of Science and Technology (2005) This resource covers technical disciplines from Agriculture to Zoology.

Journal Articles*
Academic OneFile
In addition to using search terms in a keyword search, Academic OneFile lets you search in a way that gives you a good overview of the number of articles on a certain subject. For example: click on Subject Guide Search and enter environment to auto-populate appropriate search terms. Click on the link for Subdivisions to find articles on specific topics within the overall subject or click on Related Subjects to find broader, narrower, and related terms. You can also find Environmental Science in the Browse by Discipline section.

Access journal articles by entering your keyword(s) into the Search box. OmniFile also lets you search by subject. Click the Advanced Search link and select SU Subject from the drop-down Select a Field (optional) menu to the right of the search box.

Environmental Studies and Policy Collection
Search by keyword(s) for information about environmental concerns.
Gale Power Search
Search all available Gale databases and modules from just one place or select specific ones to search, such as Environmental Studies and Policy and GREER (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources). Search by keyword(s).
Global Issues in Context
Find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles covering a range of global issues with keyword searches. On the main page, you can also view Issues of Interest and Browse Issues, which include the category Environment and Climate Change. By clicking on Browse All Issues, you can see all topics under that category, including Agriculture: Environment Impact, Climate Change, Global Warming, and more.

Search by keyword(s) or view All Issues by Subject such as Energy and Environment. Click on All Issues A to Z to browse all issues.
Opposing Viewpoints in Context
Search by keyword(s), browse current Issues of Interest, or Browse Issues. The larger category of Energy and Environmentalism has issues such as Deforestation, Fracking, Global Warming, Pollution, and more.

Environmental Health and Toxicology
