Fall 2022 CAC CARES Eligibility Criteria:
- -CAC students must have been enrolled in at least three (3) credits in the Fall 2022 semester and have had a completed 2022-23 FAFSA in CAC’s Student Information System as of 8AM on 10/20/22.
- -There was no application process for this award.
- -Maximum award for any 1 student during Fall 2022 was $850.00.

CAC is no longer accepting new applications for Spring 2022, Fall 2021, Summer 2021, Spring 2021 or 2020 CARES ACT funding.
Spring 2022 CAC CARES Eligibility Criteria:
- -CAC students must have been enrolled in at least three (3) credits in the Spring 2022 semester and completed the CAC CARES Relief application. This included high school/dual-credit students.
- -Students may have been awarded a maximum of $1400 in various CARES dollars during the Fall 2021 semester. Maximum for each individual award (CAC CARES, Relief, and VA) was $700.
Fall 2021 CAC CARES Eligibility Criteria:
- -CAC students must have been enrolled in at least three (3) credits in the Fall 2021 semester and completed the CAC CARES Relief application. This included high school/dual-credit students.
- -Students may have been awarded a maximum of $1400 in various CARES dollars during the Fall 2021 semester. Maximum for each individual award (CAC CARES, Relief, and VA) was $700.
Summer 2021 CAC CARES Eligibility Criteria:
- -CAC students must have been enrolled in at least three (3) credits in the Summer 2021 semester and completed the CAC CARES Relief application. This included high school/dual-credit students.
- -Students may have received a maximum of $700 in the Summer 2021 semester.
Spring 2021 CRRSAA Eligibility Criteria:
- -Degree Seeking- including high school students
- -Registered for 3+ credits
- -In good academic standing (CAC runs Satisfactory Academic Progress reports on all students not just those receiving financial aid).
- -US citizen or eligible non-citizen
- -Please note that CAC will fund any current or past student who may have become eligible based upon guidance from the US Department of Education as of May 2021.
- -Awards:
- -CAC CARES Relief: based on application indicating financial need as a result of COVID-19.
- -CAC CARES Award: based on Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) according to most current FAFSA on file. No application required.
- -$700 will be awarded to all students who meet the criteria listed above and have an EFC of $0-$1400.
- -$500 will be awarded to all students who meet the criteria listed above and have an EFC of $1401-$5766. $5766 is the highest EFC a student can have and still be awarded aid based on guidance from the Department of Education for full time students.
- -CAC CARES Veteran and Military Services Award: based on registration with the CAC Veteran & Military Services Office.
- -MAXIMUM AWARD FOR ANY 1 STUDENT DURING A SEMESTER IS $1400.
2020 CARES ACT Eligibility Criteria:
- -In order to be eligible to receive CARES Act funding, students had to be enrolled in 3 or more credits in the Spring 2020 semester, as of 3/13/2020.
- -All students who met all of the eligibility criteria were automatically awarded a $350 Federal CARES/HEERF Technology Grant. These students are also eligible to request additional funding.
