The Central Arizona College Education Division prepares educators to work with students of all ages in a variety of settings including public, private, charter k-12 schools, and infant/toddler programs, preschools, home and center based childcare programs.
Early Childhood Education Department
The Early Childhood Education Program at Central Arizona College is an excellent choice for anyone who is pursuing credit for a Certificate of Completion in ECE, an Associates of Applied Science degree or an Associates of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. We offer several pathways for students who wish to transfer coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree.
The Education Department offers an Associate of Arts Degree in Elementary Education (AAEE) that is transferrable to all three Arizona universities. The AAEE is a common program of study across the state and has been endorsed as the best preparation for becoming either an elementary or special education teacher.
Early Learning Centers
Central Arizona College is pleased to offer two Early Learning Centers on our Signal Peak and Superstition Mountain Campuses. In addition to providing high quality child care for students, faculty and staff, and community members, the Early Learning Centers provide high quality, hands-on learning opportunities for a variety of Central Arizona College students.
