Central Arizona College to Hold Earth Day Celebration on April 22, 2026, at Signal Peak Campus

By Angela Askey, Executive Director Public Relations and Marketing

Central Arizona College’s Sustainability Committee will host an Earth Day Celebration on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Signal Peak Campus (8470 N Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ.)

The free community event will feature informational tables, educational displays, and interactive activities presented by Central Arizona College departments as well as local community organizations.

The Sustainability Committee is currently seeking community organizations interested in participating in the event by sharing information about environmental topics or sustainable initiatives. In addition, vendors who offer organic or sustainability-focused products—such as honey, jams, baked goods, and handmade soaps—are encouraged to apply.

Participation at the event is free. Vendors selling goods will be required to complete a vendor agreement form and provide proof of insurance.

Community organizations and vendors interested in participating must register by March 22, 2026.

For more information or to register as a vendor, contact Dr. Karen Hindhede at karen.hindhede@centralaz.edu or call 520-494-5074.
