Degrees

Associate degrees are normally earned with 60-64 college credits, including general education courses, electives and courses required for a specific college major. The recipient of an associate’s degree can then transfer the credits toward a four year, bachelor’s degree program at a university.

The Business A.A.S. Degree prepares students for entry-level positions in business and provides skills necessary for helping them begin their own business.

Network Administration (A.A.S.)

A combination of general education classes, business skill development and core computer networking classes prepares you for continued education with your BAS degree at U of A South with enough involvement in the BAS program, classes will be taught on-line and at CAC, saving travel to the Tucson area.

Microcomputer Business Application (A.A.S.)

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Microcomputer Business Application program prepares students in becoming part of the support system in almost any office configuration in a wide variety of business areas.

Associate of General Studies (A.G.S.)

Certificates

A certificate is earned by a student after taking a series of courses in a particular subject. Students often earn certificates to get a step ahead in the professional field of their interest, and certificates may be offered in similar programs leading to degrees.

Complete Gainful Employment information per 34 CFR 668.6 can be found by clicking on each certificate designated with a *. Certificates with an * are eligible for Financial Aid.

Certificates
Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC)

Completion of the AGEC or AGEC Certificate fulfills lower division general education requirements and will be fully applicable to the baccalaureate degree upon transfer to an Arizona public university. Three tracks are available: AGEC-Arts, AGEC-Business and AGEC-Science. All require completion of 35-38 transferable credits.

AGEC-S

The AGEC-S satisfies programs with rigorous mathematics and science requirements.

AGEC-B

The AGEC-B satisfies requirements in many business programs and other programs that articulate with the A. Bus. Degree.

AGEC-A

The AGEC-A satisfies requirements in many liberal arts programs and other programs that articulate with the A.A. Degree.
