Don’t Get Caught in the Fee/Delete for Non-Payment of Classes!

Tuition and Fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Failure to pay tuition and fees in full will result in the loss of registration.Ā Ā It is the responsibility of the student to ensure payment in full is established.Ā Ā Please note: If you are unable to pay the required tuition, there are financial options, such as payment plans and scholarships, available to you.

Prior to withdrawals for non-payment, students will receive notification via their student email account. It is the responsibility of the student to monitor their student email account for such notifications.

What is the purge?

The purge is the process that withdraws students from classes for non-payment. Payment is due at the time of registration. Failure to pay by the purge date will result in the loss of registration. What if I am unable to pay the required tuition and fees by the published deadline?

What if I have applied for Financial Aid and I have not been notified of my award?

Applying for Financial Aid does not qualify a student to be exempt from the purge process. If a student has been *awarded Financial Aid, their student account will become exempt from the fee/delete process. Please check your online student account for scholarship/financial aid status. Other financial options may be available to you, such asĀ financial aid, scholarships and a payment plan. Please contact our Cashier’s office for additional information. *The awarding of Financial Aid is when your eligibility has been determined and your file is complete, not to be confused with applying.

What if I am a Veteran and receive educational benefits?

Students receiving VA benefits must verify eligibility with their CAC Veterans Certifying Official in order to become exempt from the purge process. This process must occur each semester. What if my employer (or third party) pays my tuition for school?

Students must submit required third party authorization forms to the Cashier’s office in order to become exempt from the purge process. What if I am receiving a scholarship?

Applying for a scholarship does not qualify a student as exempt from the Purge process. If a student has been awarded a scholarship, the account will become exempt from the purge process. What if I am a High School student registered in a Dual Enrollment class?

By registering for college classes you are accepting financial responsibility for all related tuition and fees. High school students are not exempt from the purge process.
