Manage Your Account

Do you know it is possible to log in and view your library account online?  View what items you have checked out, see when they are due, and renew them yourself from your online account.  You can also request material from other CAC campus libraries and from the Pinal County Public Libraries.

Logging In

Go to the library home page. Click on Online Catalog.  Click on My Account and select My Record.

Enter your username

  • CAC students/staff/faculty-the 6-7 digit number on your ID, NOT your 880#.
  • Community users-the complete barcode number on your library card, usually starting with 30091.
  • Problems? Contact any CAC library.
  • You must first be registered in the library system to have a username and password. If you are not, contact any CAC library.

Enter your password. Unless you changed it, it is the last four digits of your phone number.

If you successfully logged in, you will see your main account page.

Once logged on you can change your username and password by clicking Change Logon from your account page.

Renewing Items

Once logged in, click on Items Out under My Account. 


See your items, their current due dates, and the number of renewals you have left on each item.

Click the Renew All Items button.  To renew a single item check the box next to it and click Renew Selected Items.

If the item was successfully renewed you will see the new due date for the item.  If the item does not renew, or there is no checkbox next to it, then there may be a hold on it and you will need to return it by the original due date to avoid overdue fees.

Requesting an item from another library

To place a request:

Go to the Online Catalog and log in to your account.

Find the record for the item you wish to request. Make certain that the item you are requesting is a physical item, not an eBook or streaming video.

Click on Availability to see if the item is available or checked out. If the item’s status is “In” it is currently available.  If the Item is “Out” you will see the date it is due back.

Items, especially from the public library, sometimes have restrictions, but when you place a request, the system will try to fill it as quickly as possible.

Click the Place Request button.

Select your pickup library from the drop down menu and click Submit Request. The pickup library can be at CAC or a public library.

Click the button to see your current requests.

On your Requests page you can see all your hold requests and their status.  You can also see your current position in the Hold Queue.  With some popular items you may have to wait if there are others ahead of you in the queue.

When your request is ready, the status will change to “Held” and you should receive a notification via the method you selected when you signed up for your library card (by text, email or automated phone call).  Please remember to bring your CAC library card to the library for pickup.  We can only hold an item for pickup for seven days before it is returned to the lending library or the next person in the hold queue.
