Student Leadership Organization of Central Arizona College

Welcome to the home of Central Arizona College Student Leadership Organization of Central Arizona College (SLOCAC). The Student Leadership Organizations are located at each college campus and provides activities and programs for more than 6,000 students.

Mission:

The Student Leadership Organization provides inclusive opportunities to practice socially just leadership, empower students to understand their civic responsibilities, and engage the community in working toward an enriched future.

Become a Student Leadership Organization member

  • Student Leadership Organization requires students to be in good standing with the college, be currently enrolled in classes and maintain a 2.5 cumulative Grade Point Average.

Student Leadership at Your Campus:

Signal Peak Campus (SPC) Student Leadership is located in the Vaquero Lounge (I102) next to the bookstore. The Lounge is open from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is a great place to study or just hang out with friends. All students are welcome to join Student Leadership (SLOCAC). Superstition Mountain Campus (SMC) The Student Lounge is located in C-109. The Lounge is open from 8:00a.m. - 6:00 p.m Monday through Thursday. It is a great place to study or just hangout with friends. All students are welcome to join Student Leadership (SLOCAC). Regular Meetings are held Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. in F-104 during the fall and spring semesters. You may contact Karissa Patefield at karissa.patefield@centralaz.edu for more information.

Aravaipa Campus (AVC) The Student Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It is a great place to study or just hangout with your friends. All students are welcome to join Student Leadership (SLOCAC). Regular meetings are held Wednesdays 11:30 am A-120 during the fall and spring semesters. Maricopa Campus (MAR) All students are welcome to join Student Leadership (SLOCAC). We are currently recruiting new students to participate in student leadership and clubs and organizations. You may contact Megan Purvis at megan.purvis@centralaz.edu for more information.

San Tan Campus (STC) We are in the process of building our first leadership team. If you are interested please contact Christina Shepherd at christina.shepherd@centralaz.edu for more information.
