Electronic Portfolios at CAC
Below you will find a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) about Central Arizona College's e-portfolios. Click the question to display the answer.
An e-portfolio is a digital repository that showcases a student's best work. It is a high impact educational practice that helps students organize and reflect upon their learning. E-portfolios should highlight your best work as a student and include leadership activities such as clubs, honors, or athletics.
An e-portfolio can be used as a personal marketing tool when applying for a scholarship, job, or admission to a university or specialized program. E-portfolios also serve as an avenue for career exploration and personal reflection and goal-setting. The institution uses e-portfolios as an assessment tool to provide evidence of student learning to support accreditation and make institutional improvements that impact teaching and learning.
E-portfolios are beneficial and available to all CAC students.
E-portfolios should be established early in your college career and should be updated over the course of your program of study.
