Workforce Investment Act (WIA) is federally funded by the Department of Labor and provides education and training directly related to employment for income eligible applicants. The WIA Youth Program is being provided in Gila & Pinal Counties by Central Arizona College in partnership with Gila Community College.
Who is Eligible? Youth who are 21 years and younger, economically disadvantaged and need assistance in meeting their educational goals to enhance their employability.
Most importantly, youth who are ready to overcome their challenges and succeed!
What services do we offer?
Services include the following but are not limited to:
- Help obtaining your HS diploma or GED
- Paid Work Experience
- Support Services that help you meet your goals
- Work Readiness Training
- Assistance with Tuition and Books
How do I apply?
- Complete the Pre-Assessment application on the right side of this page under resources and fax it to 520-494-6055.
- Attend the Orientation/Information session that you are invited to attend.
