10-DAY STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM IN IRELAND

COUNTY DONEGAL & DUBLIN

Spend Spring Break in Ireland in 2018!  Central Arizona College is offering a 10-day study abroad program in the lush, green countryside of County Donegal, Ireland with an overnight excursion to Dublin.

Students will participate in the online course, LIT206 (World Literature), during the spring semester.  This class explores stories, poetry and novels from around the world with a special focus on Irish authors, including W.B. Yeats.  Professor Tatiana Keeling will lead this class both during the semester and as faculty leader in Ireland.

While in Ireland, students will be treated to daily lectures from Dr. Niamh Hamill of Institute of Study Abroad Ireland and excursions to historical sites to tie lessons to real-life experiences.

Students will enjoying exciting outside activities while in Ireland, many of which are included in the program costs.  Activities may include:

  • Horseback Riding
  • Surfing
  • High-ropes Course
  • Cliff Jumping
  • Archery
  • PLUS - Students will participate in a local St. Patrick's Day parade in the town of Bundoran!
