What is the District Honors Council?

The District Honors Council (DHC) is an administrative group comprised of an Honors Program Director from Signal Peak and from Superstition Mountain campuses, as well as an administrative representative and a District Honors Coordinator. The group has many responsibilities, including creating and revising the Honors curriculum, vision, and mission; managing the budget of the District Honors Programs and Services (DHPS); creating and revising DHPS policies and procedures; monitoring Honors programs, services and activities; evaluating program effectiveness, striving for continuous improvement; and serving as a forum for proposals, discussion, evaluation and problem resolution related to Honors programs and services.

Do I have to be a full-time student to join Phi Theta Kappa?

Part-time students are eligible for Phi Theta Kappa membership as long as the other eligibility requirements have been met. Please contact the Phi Theta Kappa Advisor at your campus right away.  You will not regret it.
