Make Your Weekends Part of Your Future! CAC Offers Weekend College Opportunities
By Angela Askey, Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing
Registration is underway for spring semester Weekend College at Central Arizona College’s Superstition Mountain Campus.
Weekend College offers full-time professionals, stay-at-home parents, and even high school students the opportunity to take classes on Friday evenings and Saturdays. Students may enroll in traditional or hybrid courses.
Courses in Biology (BIO), English (ENG), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire Science Technology (FSC), and Physical Education Activity (PAC) are offered to help students fulfill their Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) and health and safety related requirements, and lead to a certificate or degree.
Qualified high school students who wish to simultaneously earn high school and college credit also find the Weekend College program to be a convenient means of achieving their goal.
