Central Arizona College Business Club Students Excel at Winter Leadership Conference

Central Arizona College’s Business Club hosted the Arizona Phi Beta Lambda Winter Leadership Conference on Saturday, Feb. 11. The conference was held at the college’s Superstition Mountain Campus.

Thirty students from Arizona State University, Phoenix College, Northern Arizona University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and CAC competed in 24 events.

CAC students represented the college well and received the following placings:

Brandi Deibler - 1st place,  Accounting Principles and 2nd place, Job Interview

Kathryn Daley - 2nd place, Business Communication and 3rd place, Business Decision Making

Debra Infante - 1st place, Computer Concepts and 2nd place, Financial Concepts

Alma Murillo -  1st place, Networking Concepts; 2nd place, Computer Concepts; and 3rd place, Business Decision Making

Mark Creech - 1st place, Contemporary Sports Issues; 1st place, Information Management; 1st place, Justice Administration; and 1st place, Sports Management and Marketing

Jodi Cox - 2nd place, Cyber Security and 3rd place, Business Decision Making

Curtis Begay - 2nd place, Entrepreneurship Concepts

Marcos Lopez - 1st place, Macroeconomics and 3rd place, Financial Concepts

Jade Fryhover - 1st  place, Retail Management; 1st place, Job Interview; and 2nd place, Management Concepts

Yvette Infante - 1st place, Project Management and 2nd place, Retail Management
