CAC Student, Mark Creech Named Outstanding Business Student
The Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), recently recognized Central Arizona College student, Mark Creech as the Region 5 Post Secondary Outstanding Business Student of the Year.
Family is a big motivator in Creech’s life. He credits Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) with providing him the opportunities to show his grandchildren that education and hard work lead to professional success.
Creech is currently attending CAC and has been working with the college’s PBL chapter president, Katie Daley, to increase membership, develop professional and community service activities, and increase member participation. Before coming to CAC, he served as the PBL President of Northern Arizona University EC and was a major reason why the chapter experienced tremendous growth, both in membership and member involvement.
This year, Creech also is serving as the National Western Region Vice President and is working with the National PBL Officer Team to develop and improve programs that will benefit members across the country.
Mike Manion, Arizona PBL State Director, stated “Of the many outstanding student leaders I have worked with over the past 34 years, I can’t think of anyone who has accomplished more than Mark Creech during his time in PBL.”
