Central Arizona College to Hold FAFSA Workshops

Central Arizona College will conduct FAFSA Workshops during the months of March and April at the CAC Corporate Center, Room A-135 (540 N. Camino Mercado, Casa Grande, AZ  85122).

The workshops will be held on:

  • Wednesday, Mar. 8 (5-6:30 p.m.)      

  • Friday, Mar. 24 (1-2:30 p.m.)

  • Wednesday, Mar. 29 (4-5:30 p.m.)    

  • Saturday, Apr. 1 (Noon-1:30 p.m.)    

Beginning with the 2017-18 FAFSA, students will be allowed to utilize prior-year income from 2015 to complete the FAFSA. This allows students and families to apply earlier than in past years. If a student and their family completed a 2015 tax return, they may ‘retrieve’ that information from the IRS into the 2017-18 FAFSA. If an individual was not required to file a tax return, but did have untaxable income of any type, that information should be brought to the workshop.

Students should bring the following with them to the workshop:

In addition to their own information, all students 25 years old and younger are required to provide parents date of birth, parents social security number, and parents source of income, such as W2s if not required to file a tax return, as all income and assets must be reported on FAFSA.
