College Goal FAF$A Event Planned at CAC’s Maricopa Campus
By Angela Askey, Executive Director Public Relations and Marketing
College Goal FAF$A provides information and FREE professional assistance to students and families seeking college financial aid. CAC will host their 2016 College Goal FAF$A event on Saturday, Feb. 13 between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Central Arizona College Maricopa Campus Learning Center, Buiding B (17945 North Regent Drive, Maricopa, AZ 85138.)
“The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the first critical step in applying for financial assistance to pay for college yet, so many students and families are unaware of the options available to them, how to apply and the steps required for financial success,” explains Elisa Juarez, Central Arizona College's director of financial aid. "College Goal FAF$A offers a perfect opportunity for students and their families to receive assistance from financial aid professionals."
During the Feb. 13 event, high school seniors, current college students, and returning adults who are planning to enter college this year can receive help from CAC’s financial aid staff to complete the online FAFSA form and get answers to other financial aid related questions.
College Goal FAF$A is a financial aid initiative the Arizona Commission of Postsecondary Education has been proud to coordinate for the last 19 years. CAC’s Financial Aid Office staff has hosted an event at a CAC campus since its inception.
