CAC’s first Brown Bag Talk of 2013 could save your life

By Jennifer Whiteway

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Join us for another helping of the Brown Bag Talk Series: Speak up and Stay Alive, this Tuesday, Jan. 15, at noon.

Meet local author and radio host Patricia J. Rullo as she shares health care and hospital safety tips at Central Arizona College's Corporate Center.

In her book Speak up and Stay Alive: The Patient Advocate Hospital Survival GuideTM, Rullo presents an overview on how to manage your own or a loved one's hospital stay.

While medical errors are the fourth leading cause of death in the Unites States, Rullo wants you to be prepared, not scared as she delivers fun, fast-paced and jam-packed serious information with a light touch of humor and wit.

"Do not wait until a hospital visit to get this information," Rullo said. "When disaster strikes, the time to prepare has passed."

So just bring your lunch, and CAC will provide drinks and dessert.

Please RSVP for this free event at http://SpeakUpStayAlive.eventbrite.com/, so we can prepare as well.

The Corporate Center is located at 540 N. Camino Mercado in the city of Casa Grande - in the former Palm Center Outlet Mall located behind the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.
