CAC schedules 8 Orientation to College sessions Jan. 10-19
PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - In preparation for the 2013 spring semester that begins in mid-January, Central Arizona College students now may register online, over the phone, or in person for one of eight three-hour orientations available at five locations across Pinal County.
The orientations will begin on Jan. 10 and run through Jan. 19 with sessions scheduled in the morning, late afternoon and evening depending upon location.
"Orientation is a good foundation for those attending college for the first time," Jenni Gonzales, CAC's assistant dean of student affairs, explained. "It also serves as a great refresher for those who have already enrolled in classes. Many students, new and returning, are not aware of all of the resources available to them. Orientation points those students in the right direction."
CAC's Orientation to College provides new and returning students and their families the opportunity to connect with other students, faculty and staff. Each orientation includes topics ranging from how to get connected with student activities to locating academic resources.
To register for Orientation to College, please visit www.centralaz.edu/orientation or contact a CAC academic advisor. For questions related to orientation, please email email@example.com or call 520-494-5524.
