PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Get to know the Central Arizona College's student clubs and organizations during the Second Annual Hard Rock for Jimmy Concert on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 5 p.m., in the Don P. Pence Center for Visual & Performing Arts on the Signal Peak Campus.

The concert promises to feature good old fashioned hard rock music in honor and memory of Jimmy Sorensen, a local musician and musical prodigy who loved all types of hard and progressive rock styles.

Sorensen's untimely death at the age of 24 on July 5, 2010, was a shock to all who knew this well-known and well-liked young man who was considered an amazing person and musician.

The public is invited to attend this concert at no cost. Seating is limited.

Attendees will rock out with a slate of local bands and will have the opportunity to participate in a 50/50 giveaway. Buy a ticket as you arrive, win prizes throughout and stay until 8 p.m. for the announcement of the grand prize.
