April 25 is Jazz Night at the Pence Center

PINAL COUNTY, AZ – The Central Arizona College Jazz Ensemble will take center stage at the Don P. Pence Center for Visual & Performing Arts with Jazz Night at the Pence Center on Thursday, April 25, at 7 p.m. 

The show features both classic big band music and contemporary jazz literature. The featured soloist will be Larry Marik on tenor sax playing I Concentrate on You. Marik is a community member and resident of Palm Creek RV Park. 

Music in the performance will include George & Ira Gershwin’s Summertime, The Beatles’ Money, and Lee Morgan’s Sidewinder and How High The Moon just to name a few. 

Advance tickets for the show are available online at http://springjazz.eventbrite.com/. If available, tickets for the night of show may be purchased at the Pence Center Box Office that will open at 6 p.m. General admission is $5, while CAC students are admitted for free.
