CAC Family Flicks: Kirk Douglas stars in The Big Trees Jan. 27

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Families of Pinal County are invited to delve into the classic cinemas featured at Central Arizona College's Family Flicks.

CAC Family Flicks: Classic Cinema will show The Big Trees, on Friday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. in Room B101 at the Casa Grande Center. The center is located at 1015 E. Florence Boulevard at the intesection of Trekell Road in Casa Grande.

CAC is hosting this classic movie night, free of charge, along with some popcorn.

This 1952 film is set in the breathtaking woods of California where the beautiful Sequoia trees seem to touch the sky.

A greedy lumberman (Kirk Douglas) plans to chop down the sacred Sequoias, but has a run-in with the religious locals who capture his heart.

Watch as he transforms into an action hero and attempts to save the giant Sequoias from other timber barons.
