Get the most out of glass with C.A.L.L. class

APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz. - Intrigued by glass jewelry? Then register for a class offered through Central Arizona College's Lifelong Learners program.

The class will be taught by veteran pottery teacher Janna Blok and will be held at CAC's Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction. Tuition is set at $30 for C.A.L.L. members and $45 for non-members.

This class will be offered on Wed., March 23, from 1-4 p.m. and on Wed., March 30 from 1-3 p.m.

In Dichroic Fused Glass Jewelry, students will learn the basics of dichroic glass fusing, making beautiful jewelry while learning about glass fusing, glass cutting and glass design along with kiln firing.

Blok has been a pottery teacher for 35 years and specializes in wheel-throwing techniques. She has been retired but is anxious to get back into the classroom.
