Central Arizona College Middle School Honor Band meets, performs Feb. 5 at the Pence Center

PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – The Central Arizona College Middle School Honor Band will assemble and perform on Friday, Feb. 5

 The concert will begin at 4:30 p.m. and feature some of the finest young talent in Pinal County. The CAC Middle School Honor Choir also will perform.

There is no charge for the concert and the public is invited to attend.

The Middle School Honor Band is directed by Rick Moore, CAC’s instrumental music professor, who will welcome students from Apache Junction, Casa Grande, Eloy, Kearny, Maricopa and the San Tan Valley to the event.

The middle school musicians will rendezvous at Central Arizona College at 9 a.m. on Feb. 5 to begin an all-day rehearsal for the show. It is the first and only time the students from the different schools will meet and practice together.

Central Arizona College’s Signal Peak Campus

The Signal Peak Campus is located at 8470 North Overfield Road, Coolidge, AZ 85128. The campus is located at the base of Signal Peak Mountain between the towns of Coolidge and Casa Grande, just east of Interstate 10.

Driving north from Tucson on I-10, take exit 190 (McCartney Road) and turn right at the top of the exit ramp to head east. Follow McCartney Road east to North Overfield Road, turn left to head north into the campus.

Driving south from Phoenix on I-10, take exit 190 (McCartney Road) and turn left at the top of the exit ramp to head east. Follow McCartney Road east to North Overfield Road, turn left to head north into the campus.

From Coolidge take Martin Road west around the S-turn back on to Woodruff Road. The large dairy will be on your left. Follow Woodruff Road east to the entrance of the CAC campus. Make a right to enter the campus.
