Co-sponsored by Central Arizona College and the Southwest Theatre Arts Guild for Education (S.T.A.G.E), this hilarious, well-known musical by Dan Goggin tells the story of the Little Sisters of Hoboken convent where, due to an unfortunate accident in the kitchen, some 52 nuns have gone on to their reward.
Adding to the unpleasant event, the nunnery's coffers lack the funds to pay for a decent burial for all the sisters, leaving four of them in cold storage.
Sister Mary Regina, Mother Superior, however, is determined to raise the cash, and decides she and her fellow nuns will put on a talent show in which they will show off their singing and dancing ability. The proceeds from the show will go toward the Little Sisters' Funeral Fund.
