January 5, 2009
PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - The Central Arizona College Lifelong Learner’s (C.A.L.L.) program will hold an open house series beginning Monday, Jan. 12, to provide members of the community an opportunity to learn more about its classes, activities and trips scheduled for 2009.

The series will conclude on Tuesday, Jan 13, from 9 a.m.-Noon in Room 440 of CAC’s Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction.

The event is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

C.A.L.L. is an enrichment program for adult learners of any age without regard to previous education. The organization provides its members a variety of informal, low-cost, high-quality classes, study groups and field trips.

Types of programs offered by C.A.L.L. include trips to see theatrical productions; a variety of arts and crafts enrichment classes; a health and wellness series; technology and photography classes; and Living in Arizona programs that teach geology, birding, gardening and astronomy – just to name a few.

The Central Arizona Travelers (CATs) have spectacular journeys planned for the next year, including trips to China, Italy, New England, the Canadian Rockies, the Grand Canyon (by boat) and Copper Canyon in Mexico (by train).

With an unwavering commitment to serving the citizens of Pinal County and the East Valley, anyone can join the C.A.L.L. program for just an $89 annual membership fee – an unbelievable bargain that entitles participants one year of unlimited classes from the date of registration.

Some classes have additional fees for supplies, transportation or admission, while those who have not joined C.A.L.L. are welcome to experience the same exciting atmosphere and camaraderie by paying the non-member fee for each event.
