February 9, 2009
PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. – Central Arizona College is providing employers and job candidates an opportunity to connect at three job and career fairs around the Pinal County Community College District this spring.
The three events will take place at the college’s Aravaipa Campus located near Winkelman, at the Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction, and on the Signal Peak Campus located just off I-10 between Casa Grande and Coolidge.
There is no charge to job seekers attending any of the three job and career fairs.
“This is an opportunity for people to visit with professionals in the field as well as find potential employment opportunities,” Ann Mitchell, who coordinates the career services at Central Arizona College, explained.
The first event will be held in the gymnasium at Central’s Aravaipa Campus from 9 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The Aravaipa Campus Annual Career/Job Fair is an opportunity for job seekers to speak with professionals in the field or to find available employment.
There is no charge for employers to set up exhibits and there is still time to participate. For more information or to reserve a space, please contact Maria Munoz by phone at 520-494-2801, or by e-mail at email@example.com.
Exhibitors also may contact Mitchell by phone at 520-494-5428, or by e-mail at ann.mitchell@centralazedu for more details.
The Superstition Mountain Campus Annual Job & Career Expo will be held on Thursday, March 5, from 1-6 p.m. in Rooms 442 & 443. CAC is currently registering exhibitors for the event.
The $35 registration fee will provide exhibitors with a table, two chairs and an early evening snack consisting of a variety of appetizing finger foods. Nonprofit organizations receive a discount rate of $25.
“Space is limited and going quickly, so we are encouraging employers to reserve a table as soon as possible,” Mitchell said.

Central Arizona College also is seeking exhibitors for its 5th Annual Job & Career Fair on Thursday, April 9, at the Signal Peak Campus. The event will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. inside the George Young Activity Center.
In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the event, the registration fee has been reduced by $5. Employers who wish to be represented at this year’s fair are encouraged to reserve space as soon as possible.
The general exhibitor fee is $60, while the fee for government and nonprofit organizations providing 501 3 (c) proof is $45. Additionally, exhibitors can save an additional $15 if they register for the event by March 13.
“This is one of the largest job and career fairs in Pinal County,” Mitchell explained. “Last year the fair was just about at capacity, so it is imperative that exhibitors reserve space early.”
Exhibitors will be provided with a table, two chairs, listing in the fair guide, a networking continental breakfast and lunch for one representative. A high demand for tables is expected with more than 750 people attending the fair in 2008.
