MARICOPA, Ariz. – v"This is a terrific golf course and we are expecting to have just a great time with friends and members of the community,” Jeff Thies, the director of athletics, said. “And all of the net proceeds go to a great cause – Vaquero athletics.”

The four-person best ball scramble format will begin at 2 p.m. with a shotgun start. The cost of the event is $100 per player and includes greens fees, golf cart, fajita buffet and practice balls.
